  1. IoneI absolutely cannot allow it.
  2. IoneYou even went to the trouble of calling me out here... In our sanctum of all places, Phernos?
  3. You want to use the Scarlotus yourself? If you had even an ounce of respect for us Cavaliers, you would never dare utter such nonsense.
  4. PhernosI know Reda better than anyone. Above all, she valued her duty as high priestess. If she used dark magic, she must have had a good reason.
  5. If I can learn the effects of Scarlotus, I can take a guess at her intentions. It will help greatly in finding her.
  6. IoneNaive as you sound, you certainly have a silver-tongue. You almost had me persuaded...

  1. Daeva, what do you think? Do you believe the use of dark magic can ever be justified?
  2. IoneAnalyzing its effects in order to better counteract them... That's a more convincing argument than Phernos's...
  3. *sigh* Fine. I'll cooperate for now. But on the condition that you participate too, Daeva.
  4. You seem to have forgotten that people live outside the Bulwark as well, Phernos. And, to be frank, I simply don't trust you.
  5. Daeva. If you promise to stop Phernos if he does anything reckless, I'll offer what help I can.
  6. PhernosI have no objections. Now then, may I continue explaining?
  7. Ione, I will need you to provide a body and a site for the experiment. Preferably somewhere far from any potential interruptions.
  8. IoneI have a suitable place in mind. A cave near Pamos Farm. Would an animal corpse suffice?
  9. PhernosDaeva, I will need you to collect some Fafnite I've hidden nearby. Keep any questions to yourself, and just bring it safely.
  10. Let us meet in the cave after preparations are complete.
  11. Retrieved the Fafnite. Go to the cave near Pamos Farm.
  12. PhernosI can empathize with Ione's anger. We unleashed dark magic that should never have seen the light of day.
  13. We confirmed the effects of Scarlotus, but Reda's intentions with it remain unclear.
  14. The defense of Verteron Fortress would have benefited greatly from such magic, but she did not use it then.
  15. If it was not to protect the Fortress or Cavaliers, then why...? I need to think about it more.
  16. Daeva. Do not utter a word about any of this. I will inform the others myself when the time is right.
  17. Nothing happened in this cave today, understand?
