Mounty RuneScape: Dragonwilds
Není tu žádná stáj k návštěvě a nic k ochočení.
- 🐦Applefeather Mosstail
This brightly coloured breed of terrorbird gets its name from the apple orchards where the breed was first reared. The owner of the orchard had little imagination for colour combinations, so when he saw red and green together the only thing that came to mind were the apples right in front of him. This is in no way similar to the naming process used by narrative designers.
- 🐦Ashbelly Mountainclimber
Raised in the rockiest parts of Ashenfall, the Ashbelly Mountainclimber is no stranger to heights. They will happily walk up any incline, and stare down from even the tallest cliffs.
- 🐦Astralbeak Warbler
Named after the stars, rather than the runes, the Astralback Warblier is a strange beast. On nights where the sky is clear and the moon absent, this breed of terrorbird loves nothing more than to raise its head to the heavens and warble strangely haunting melodies.
- 🐦Coastal Sunbeak
Raised along the beaches and coastal regions, the Sunbeak is a colourful terrorbird variant who enjoys a more fish heavy diet then most.
- 🐦Crimson Crybaby
A breed created by a Zamorakian priest who found them far less terrifying than he had hoped. Instead of bringing fear to the masses, these terrorbirds would whimper and sob whenever forced to do any manual labour. He named the breed “crybaby” in frustration, though it remains disappointingly apt.
- 🐦Eclipseborn Sharpbeak
Legend says that this breed of terrorbird appears only during a solar eclipse. They are said to possess magical powers; the exact nature of which varies with each telling. In truth, they can hatch just like any terrorbird does and possess no know metaphysical capabilities.
- 🐦Eventide Braggart
This breed of terrorbird has an overly inflated sense of self-worth. They will barge to the front of any queue and will stamp over anything in their way.
- 🐦Ghornfell Leafeater
These are not the brightest of terrorbirds and they are named because they spend their days munching on leaves and blades of grass. This is unfortunate, as this particular breed have a carnivorous diet, so they spend a lot of their time being violently ill.
- 🐦Goldwinged Smokedancer
These creatures enjoy little more than flitting about in campire smoke. Perhaps it’s because it’s the closest they will ever come to dancing in the clouds, yet, still, they dream.
- 🐦Grassfoot Screecher
Bramblemead farmers named this breed of terrorbird after the horrifying sound it made at any given opportunity. Lunchtime? Screech! Danger? Screech? The day ends with a y? Long, piercing, screech. They were not a popular breed with the neighbours.
- 🐦Icepinion Stalker
With feathers of glacial blue, these terrorbirds were once prized as fashionable mounts of the rich and powerful. Unfortunately, however, they took a disturbing liking to the famous, leading to the second half of their name.
- 🐦Infernal Blightbeak
This breed of terrorbird was the bane of most normal human residents. They would raid farms, culling livestock and devouring grain. They would storm through settlements, smashing to pieces anything within their reach. Only the Black Knights of Dowdun Reach had any success in training them, and only such madmen would even try to.
- 🐦Leafwood Strider
Druids in Brynmoor would rear these birds not as mounts, but as guard dogs for their sacred sites. The terrorbirds were raised to be quick, silent and merciless in their defence of the groves.
- 🐦Midnight Highcrest
So named because of the tuft if feathers on the top of the terrorbird’s head. A shade of deep blue, with hints of purple, creates an impression of mysterious midnight magic, or so the breeder claimed.
- 🐦Mossbreak Hunter
While many terrorbirds were bred for speed, the Mossbeak Hunter was bred to pursue. Wild Knight swould raise them to chase down dangerous prey, tiring their quarry out from the terrorbird’s almost limitless stamina.
- 🐦Mountaintop Windrunner
A fancy name for these blue birds. They actually have never been near the mountains and they, like all terrorbirds, cannot fly.
- 🐦Oakfeather Raptor
A green-feathered variant of the terrorbird, popular with the Wild Knights back in the earliest days of Bramblemead. They would raise the raptor from the moment they hatched, so that the bird would imprint on the knight and create a bond of loyalty unlike any other.
- 🐦Oceanblood Meanderer
Raised near the coasts of Ashenfall, this breed of terrorbird is prone to wanderlust. They will often go missing, only to be found a day or two later just aimlessly wandering along the beaches.
- 🐦Rimekept Racer
Raised in colder regions, this breed of terrorbird was popular for its speed. Regular races would be held with various different terrorbirds, but the Rimekept Racer would almost always come first.
- 🐦Scorchsummer Ashbeak
This breed is so named because the breeder’s daughter thought they were sunburned when she first saw the chicks. Bright pink and screeching, she immediately put them in buckets of water, only to face the wrath of their mother.
- 🐦Shadowsoul Talon
Despite their sinister name, the Shadowsoul Talons are some of the most gentle and friendly breeds of terrorbird. They were given such a frightful name by their keeper, who was desperately trying to sell them on to the Black Knights of Dowdun Reach and figured scarier names might make more money.
- 🐦Smokeback Howler
Something is wrong with these creatures, they are gripped by some preternatural terror that causes them to scream incoherently for no reason. They are silent much of the time, but once in a blue moon, they will emit a sound so horrifying that it will chill you to your core.
- 🐦Smouldering Fireskimmer
These terrorbirds like to hang out near volcanic areas. They enjoy the ash in their feathers, as they think it makes them look more attractive. The smouldering in their name comes not from any sort of flame, but from the disturbing looks they give their handlers when they’re trying to seem cool.
- 🐦Springdown Runner
The Springdown Runner was bred for the races. It was quick, focused and not easily distracted by the various tricks of the watching crowd. While nowadays there’s less of that racing instinct, this breed of terrorbird still enjoys a good run around.
- 🐦Starlit Whisperer
A quiet and gentle breed of terrorbird, the Starlit Whisperer is happy to just stay silently by your side.
- 🐦Stormfeather Lurker
With electric yellow feathers along the wings and the back, this breed of terrorbird always stands out from the crowd. Perhaps this is why they are all naturally so shy. They got their name because they would always try and hide from their owners, lurking in all the dark places so that they might not be seen.
- 🐦Summerbellied Wagtail
This friendly breed of terrorbird is so named because they wag their tails in the presence of their handlers. They delight in playful displays of affection, such as jumping up and down, or attempting to chew someone’s face off. Oh, how sweet.
- 🐦Sunkissed Clawfoot
These bright yellow creatures love nothing more than ferreting out strange green herbs with their sharp claws. They enjoy running around plains, making screeching noises.
- 🐦Terrorbird Mount
A bound nature spirit. Summon it to carry you across the lands, much faster than you could manage were you to rely on your own bandy, little, legs.
- 🐦Zamorakian Pledgesaddle
Popular with the Black Knights of Dowdun Reach due to the darkand sinister colour schemes. Many of the knights would ride into battle atop these creatures, screaming about the power of chaos as they went.
- 🐦Zarosian Nightwalker
In the second age, the time of the Zarosian Empire, these terrorbirds were bred for nocturnal patrols. Their dark vision was excellent, and they were skilled trackers, and so proved popular with the Inquistion, as they hunted down the heretics.
Magic Carpets 5
Utkané z očarovaného vlákna a vytvořené pro poušť. Na rozdíl od terrorbirdů koberec hladce klouže po dunách Umbral Sands.
- 🧿Magic Carpet
A carpet, woven from enchanted thread. Summon it to carry you across the desert. Unlike terrorbirds, the carpet will glide smoothly across the desert, showing you a whole new world of sandy sights.
- 🧿Manafem Midnight
Rare is it that the people of Manafem brave the dunes. The harsh light of day makes travel dangerous and at night there is the constant threat of their “great protector”, Fuzan, always happy for a meal delivered. So it was that they wove a carpet in the gentle blues of the night, so that they might blend in more easily with the midnight sands.
- 🧿Moonsilk Weave
Legend tells us that this carpet is woven from silk spun by the moon sprites of the Umbral Sands. It is said that they create those silken threads only on clear nights when the moon is full and the stars look down and give them permission. These rare carpets, therefore, only appear in times of great peace and tranquility. Traits that the Umbral Sands have not seen for some time.
- 🧿Scorchweave Rug
Made by crushing up the red vines around the desert, this rug is considered an omen of bad luck in certain households. The red colouring reminds people of the scorching effect of the sun, and the many friends they have lost to its cruel influence. Counter-intuitively, perhaps, the red colouring is also supposed to ward off danger, for the same reasons as some consider it bad luck. To that end many choose to hang this rug on the outside of their homes, to scare away any beasts that might seek to do them harm.
- 🧿Uzzerian Umber
This light umber tone is handcrafted by Uzzer children as part of their daily lessons. The youngsters gather round and work together to weave the complicated pattern throughout the tapestry as a means of teaching them patience as well as some useful life skills. If you look very carefully, you can see where the garou cubs have found clever ways to sneakily weave in swear words, personal symbols and odd little doodles to amuse themselves. This way, each of the carpets is unique, if not entirely desirable.
