One Eyed Foe

One Eyed Foe is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the Goblin Merchant merchant, part of the Greater Threats quest line. That stinky giant is trouble for all gobbo folk. Take em out and make it better for me and me friends! The objective is to kill 1× cyclops. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Goblin Merchant in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing Gamba before it becomes available from Goblin Merchant. Completing One Eyed Foe rewards 375 Gold, 1 Gold, 1,000 XP, GoblinMerchant Affinity +50. The quest is completed in Goblin Caves. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post. Completing the full Goblin Merchant quest chain unlocks higher reward tiers and increases merchant affinity, which can affect prices and open additional quest tiers in future seasons.
