Winter’s Chaos

Winter’s Chaos is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the Krampus Daily merchant, part of the Krampus’ Trial quest line. I like those who take action, no matter what. A life spent standing still is boring. So this time, why don’t you do what you enjoy? Wreck every dungeon you can, and make it back alive. There are 4 objectives to complete: Survive 1 raid; Survive 1 raid; Survive 1 raid; Survive 1 raid. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Krampus Daily in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. Completing Winter’s Chaos rewards 3x Krampus Coin, Random Epic Weapon. The quest is completed in Ruins, Goblin Caves, Ice Cavern or Ship Graveyard. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post. Completing the full Krampus Daily quest chain unlocks higher reward tiers and increases merchant affinity, which can affect prices and open additional quest tiers in future seasons. The Krampus’ Trial chain provides a structured progression path through the Krampus Daily quest tree, and finishing each quest in order is the fastest route to the higher value objectives later in the line.
