Beasts in the Flames
Beasts in the Flames is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the Miner merchant, part of the The Broken Remains quest line. Ignir has twisted not only my kin, but also the beasts of that land. They were once animals we raised, but now they wander through the flames, stripped of reason and driven to rage. If left unchecked, they will become a greater threat. Put them down and bring back what remains as proof. There are 2 objectives to complete: Kill 5× Flame Boar; Bring 3× Cracked Tusk. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Miner in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing Those Bound in Fire before it becomes available from Miner. Completing Beasts in the Flames rewards 250 XP, 125 Gold, Random Rare Armor. The quest is completed in Goblin Caves. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post.
