Easing the Burden is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the Treasurer merchant, part of the Good Deeds quest line. It is a cruel irony that the dead leave behind not only sorrow but financial ruin. I wish to help free them, but to do so we must gather the necessary funds. Bring me some silver coins, and we can begin to ease their suffering. The objective is to bring 10× silver coin. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Treasurer in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing Buried Secrets before it becomes available from Treasurer. Completing Easing the Burden rewards 50 Gold, Random Uncommon Armor, 50 XP. The quest is completed in Ice Cavern, Goblin Caves, Ruins or Ship Graveyard.
