How could I have known she was a witch? I stole the seeds to feed myself, to make something from this scrap of land. Now I am cursed. Cursed to become something that no-one will look twice at. Even now, I can feel my mind failing me. the best I can do is find a fine spot. There, I suppose, I will live out the rest of my days. Joe.
I don't have much time left. Soon, I will forget everything. All I can do is choose a place to be. I have so many regrets. But I suppose they will leave me too. Joe.
My memory is fading. Was I someone else before? My mind is so foggy. Or was it just foggy in the place I left? A name comes to me. Joe?
