An Unforgotten Memory is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the Navigator merchant, part of the In Search of the Echoes of the Past quest line. When my ship was taken by pirates... I was lucky to survive, but the others weren’t. Most were thrown into the sea, and that was the last I saw of them. The waters near the Blue Maelstrom are full of man-eating fish. Adventurer, please deal with them. And if you find any items that might have belonged to sailors, bring them to me. I want to know if they were people I once knew. There are 3 objectives to complete: Kill 10× Moray Eel; Kill 10× Sea Piranha; Bring 1× Sailors Journal. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Navigator in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing Where the Map Points before it becomes available from Navigator. Completing An Unforgotten Memory rewards 300 XP, 150 Gold, Random Epic Armor. The quest is completed in Ship Graveyard. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post.
