I’ve been mulling over something—rumors of creatures that devour souls. The wraiths are the first of many, I suspect. If we slay them, perhaps the souls trapped in this cycle will find rest. And if we’re lucky, those still living might snap out of whatever trance they’re in. It’s a long shot, but it’s a start. The objective is to kill 1× wraith. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Treasurer in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing A Legacy of Pain before it becomes available from Treasurer. Completing Whispers of the Devoured rewards 30 Gold, 5x Lockpick, Random Uncommon Armor, 40 XP, TavernMaster Affinity +10. The quest is completed in Ruins.
