What is Doom Bots?

Doom Bots is a rotating PvE game mode in League of Legends where players team up to face five souped-up AI bots with bonus stats and augmented abilities. The objective is to survive the high-octane siege on your base for 15 minutes and then face the sinister force behind the Doom Bots in a thrilling finale.

The game mode is available from August 27, 2025, to October 22, 2025, with dates subject to change. Always check the in-game schedule for the most accurate information.

Gameplay Mechanics

In Doom Bots, players face off against five boosted bots, each with variations on their abilities and increased AI difficulty. The match is divided into two phases:

• Laning Phase: Fight against a team of five boosted bots, each with variations on their abilities and increased AI difficulty. Players must endure Curses and Trials of Doom while attempting to complete two in-game missions. Success grants rewards that may help in surviving longer; failure makes things worse.
• Boss Phase: If players survive for approximately 15 minutes, the Boss Phase triggers, and the Ultimate Evil Boss appears. This is the final battle, so don't hold back!

New Features in Doom Bots

The return of Doom Bots introduces several new features to enhance the gameplay experience:

• Augmented AI Bots: The Doom Bots have received upgrades, making them more challenging and unpredictable. Their abilities have been enhanced to provide a more formidable challenge.
• Trials of Doom: New to this run of Doom Bots are Trials of Doom. These are versions of Doom Bots where core components of the game are added or changed to create specific challenges. Each patch will activate a different Trial of Doom, with all three reactivated in the last patch for players to complete.
• New Boss Mechanics: The final boss, Veigar, introduces new mechanics that require players to strategize and work together to overcome. Players must protect their Nexus while dealing with Veigar's powerful abilities.

To succeed in Doom Bots, players should consider the following strategies:

• Team Composition: Choose champions that complement each other and can handle the enhanced abilities of the Doom Bots. Champions with crowd control and sustain are particularly valuable.
