The Taste of Escape is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the Jack O Lantern merchant, part of the The Season of Sweetness quest line. Did you know there’s a kind of taste you don’t feel on your tongue but at your fingertips? They say adventurers like you enjoy that thrill. Some even get addicted, going back to the dungeons again and again. I’m curious, what does it taste like? Will you go and tell me when you return? There are 3 objectives to complete: Survive 3 raids; Survive 3 raids; Survive 3 raids. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Jack O Lantern in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing Tainted Candy before it becomes available from Jack O Lantern. Completing The Taste of Escape rewards 150 Gold, 50 XP, PumpkinMan Affinity +50, 4x Arcane Essence. The quest is completed in Ruins, Goblin Caves or Ship Graveyard.
