What is Overwolf and is it safe?
MetaBot.GG Desktop is a standalone app — you do not need to install the Overwolf client separately. It is built on the Overwolf platform, the leading overlay framework for competitive games used by millions of players worldwide. Overwolf overlays work within official client guidelines and do not modify game files, so your account is safe.
Will it slow my game down?
No — the app is designed to be lightweight and runs quietly in the background. The overlay only activates when a supported game is detected, and resource usage is minimal so your FPS stays where it should.
Which games are supported?
In-game overlays are live now for League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics, with Valorant, Deadlock, and Marvel Rivals rolling out next. Deep analytics, tier lists, match history, and AI coaching are available today for all five games.
Do I need an account to download?
No — you can install the app and use the overlays without signing up. If you already have a MetaBot.GG profile, signing in syncs your linked game accounts, dashboard, and preferences across web and desktop.
How do I uninstall it?
One click. Open Windows Settings → Apps, find MetaBot.GG, and select Uninstall. You can also remove it directly from the Overwolf app dashboard. No leftover files, no hassle.
Does it work outside of games?
Yes. The desktop app gives you the full MetaBot.GG experience as a standalone client — tier lists, builds, match history, AI coaching, and the TFT Teambuilder — plus the in-game overlay when you launch a supported title.
