Hecarim Tips

- Hecarim is able to soak a lot of damage, making them much more viable in the frontline taking damage to protect less tanky teammates.
- Hecarim tends to have a lower vision score than other champions. Make sure you are working to place wards and clear enemy wards.
- Hecarim has a high rate of healing compared to other champions. They may be good at exchanging hit trades in lane or before teamfights since they can recover through self-healing.
- Hecarim has more magic resistance than most champions, which makes them excellent in the early game against magic damage type enemies.
- Hecarim has more base attack damage than most champions, so they should be trading autos aggressively in lane.
Playing Hecarim
- Spirit of Dread restores Health when nearby enemies take damage, including damage dealt by allies. Cast this during a large fight to maximize Hecarim's survivability.
- Devastating Charge deals more damage based on the distance traveled. Try using Onslaught of Shadows or Summoner Spells such as Ghost or Flash to maximize this damage.
Playing Against Hecarim
- Hecarim gains life from nearby enemies with Spirit of Dread but lacks durability, use burst damage.
- Hecarim's ultimate causes opponents to flee in terror. Spread out to reduce his power in fights.
