Jax Tips
- Jax has less crowd control than most champions. This can make locking down kills or ganking for other players more difficult.
- Jax has less damage per game than most other damage-based champions. Your value to the team may be better oriented towards crowd control or securing objectives.
- Jax has more base armor than most champions, which makes them excellent in the early game against attack damage type enemies.
- Jax has more magic resistance than most champions, which makes them excellent in the early game against magic damage type enemies.
- Jax has more mana regen than most champions, making their playstyle optimal for aggressive trades in lane.
- Jax has more health regen than most champions, making their playstyle optimal for aggressive trades in lane.
- Jax has more base attack damage than most champions, so they should be trading autos aggressively in lane.
Playing Jax
- Jax can Leap Strike to friendly units, including wards. You can use them to plan your escape.
- Jax benefits greatly from items that have both Ability Power and Attack Damage such as Guinsoo's Rageblade and Hextech Gunblade.
Playing Against Jax
- Try to engage him in short bursts instead of going toe-to-toe with him. Preventing him from attacking consecutively drastically lowers his damage output.
- Jax can dodge all incoming attacks for a very short amount of time and stuns enemies in melee range when it ends. Wait to strike him until after his dodge is finished.
