How to beat Xie Qiudong, the Divine Healer
Our strategy, built from the fight's numbers, followed by the game's own codex entry.
- Parry the blue flashes: 1 of Xie Qiudong, the Divine Healer's 10 attacks flash blue before they land, and a timed parry stops them.
- Dodge the red flashes: 2 attacks flash red. They can't be parried, so dodge through them instead of blocking.
- The tightest tell is Knockback Retreat Stab: only 0.51s from the flash to the hit, so react to the flash, not the swing.
- Bring Fire: it deals 30% more damage to Xie Qiudong, the Divine Healer.
- Xie Qiudong, the Divine Healer's Sha-Chi bar is 1,700: perfect parries and Guard Break attacks drain it, and an empty bar opens the boss to a finisher.
Fire is the clear pick against Xie Qiudong, dealing 30% more damage and building Burn 30% faster. Almost everything else is resisted: Poison deals 60% less damage with 60% slower build-up, while Frost, Lightning and Water are each resisted by 30%.
He has the lowest base stats among the Pangzhen bosses, with 4,800 base HP and 1,700 base Sha-Chi, which calculate to roughly 47,400 HP and 7,880 Sha-Chi at level 15 before difficulty. With no Sha-Chi resistances, Parries and Standard Combos break him at the normal rate, so aggressive pressure works.
The codex paints him as a masked healer in Pangzhen's backstreets who drains Sha-Chi from his victims. He follows Gu Wanyue, the Wailing Wraith, grants 30,600 Remnant Dust, and drops Everflow, a medicine. You Loong, Leader of the Blackwater Crew is next.

Xie Qiudong, the Divine Healer lore
The codex entry the game unlocks for Xie Qiudong, the Divine Healer.
In-game codexA healer who has made the backstreets of Pangzhen his domain, wearing a mask adorned with copper coins. His skill far surpasses that of his peers, earning him the admiration of the Transcended. But his treatments consume far more Sha-Chi than those of ordinary deranged healers.
His master’s tragic fate taught him that even benevolent healers may meet bitter ends, while his junior Xie Xiaorong’s obscurity showed that years of hard work can still go unnoticed. Together, these became excuses for his own wasted years and failed ambition.
When Perfect Transcension spread through Pangzhen, he saw his chance. Using his practice to lure in Transcended women of the Baishan Sect, he drained them of Sha-Chi, then gave a little of that stolen power to desperate people in need. Those he treated hailed him as the greatest healer of the age, while few noticed the piles of Transcended corpses.
The copper coins on his mask jingle as he greedily drinks in the sweet Sha-Chi. He gave those wretches a few more days to live. In his mind, that makes him the true healer who decides who lives and who dies.
