What is SPAM?
SPAM is a free-to-play PvP card battler from the French studio Ticroco, released on Steam on October 7, 2026. Each match is a duel of four-card decks: every card is on the board from the first turn, so there is no hand to draw and no luck of the draw — just cooldowns, element bonuses and the choices you make in the shop.
You win by destroying all four enemy cards. Abilities come back on their cooldowns, every element point you build adds 10% to that element's abilities, and every other turn you spend Spamtons on a Tox that rewrites what a card can do. Ranked play unlocks after 3 casual matches.
- 4 cards, all on the boardNo hand, no draws: every ability is cast on its cooldown, turn after turn.
- 7 elementsFire, Water, Earth, Nature, Shadow, Light and Ether. Element points stack for the whole match.
- The Tox Shop3 offers every other turn, one purchase, a 10-Spamton reroll and one family ban per player.
- Three talents per cardOne is active per match; ranked players pick it in a 30-second draft.

SPAM game FAQ — v1.20
What is the SPAM card game?
SPAM is a free-to-play PvP card battler by Ticroco, released on Steam on October 7, 2026. Players duel with four-card decks, stack element bonuses, buy Tox in an in-match shop and climb a ranked ladder from Bronze to Legend.
Is SPAM free to play?
Yes. SPAM is free on Steam. Cards come from orbs bought with Crystals (earned by playing) or Spam, the premium currency; a monthly Premium Pass doubles mission rewards.
How many cards are in a SPAM deck?
A deck is exactly 4 cards, and all of them start on the board. There is no hand or draw pile: each card's abilities are cast whenever their cooldowns are ready.
What is Tox in SPAM?
Tox are passives you buy during a match. The Tox Shop opens every other turn with 3 offers; you can buy one, reroll for 10 Spamtons, or skip for 10 Spamtons. There are 41 Tox families, most with common, rare, epic and legendary versions.
What are Spamtons?
Spamtons are the in-match currency. Each turn you earn the turn number plus every card's Spamton value, and 50 more when one of your own cards is destroyed. You spend them in the Tox Shop.
How does ranked work in SPAM?
Ranked unlocks after 3 casual matches. Ranks go from Bronze through Silver, Gold, Crystal and Celeste to Legend, 15 stars per rank, and before each ranked match you pick one talent per card in a 30-second draft.
What is the best card and deck in SPAM right now?
Our model rates Polychrome Owl the strongest card in v1.20, and Shadow Crit Engine Deck (Commando Gerz) is the top curated deck. These ratings are modeled from game data — damage, durability, economy and element stacking over ten turns — not win rates.
Where does this SPAM data come from?
Every number is read from the SPAM game client (v1.20, extracted Oct 7, 2026) or calculated from it; tiers come from our expected-value deck model, explained on the methodology page.
