Game dataThe page as it reads in the game.
The deceased, Lu Sanjin, was a respected elder of the village.
On the third night of the wake, a procession of Wooden Puppet children suddenly appeared, crowding around one another as they came to pay their respects. After burning incense and bowing in reverence, they drifted away as mysteriously as they had come, seeming to have form yet no true substance. Only a register was left behind, bearing the names of children who, in recent years, had fallen gravely ill and into deep sleep.
The crowd marveled, believing these to be descendants of the Lu Clan, grateful for the kindness of their forebear and come to bid him farewell.
Names recorded in the register:
Zhiyuan, son of Mingxuan
Huixin, daughter of Mingde
Nian'en, son of Fusheng
