Frost Mountain Ascent

Frost Mountain Ascent is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the The Collector merchant, part of the Cold Collections quest line. I’ve been hearing of a wonderous gadgetry up on the great peak out yonder. Might you do my bidding and have a look out there? The objective is to explore four route. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to The Collector in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing The Ordinary and the Extraordinary before it becomes available from The Collector. Completing Frost Mountain Ascent rewards 75 Gold, 4x Arcane Essence, 125 XP. The quest is completed in Ice Cavern. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post.
