What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember you between pages and visits, for example to keep you signed in.
We also use similar technologies that work the same way: local storage and session storage (data saved by your browser for this site), scripts and pixels that report when a page or ad has loaded, and advertising identifiers that recognize the same browser across sites.
First-party cookies are set by metabot.gg. Third-party cookies and identifiers are set by partners whose services run on our pages, mainly for analytics and advertising.

Preferences and features

Analytics
These help us understand how the site is used (which pages are visited, how people navigate and where things break) so we can improve it. Microsoft Clarity records how a sample of visits moves through pages, with text you type masked.

Advertising
MetaBot.GG is free because it shows ads. Our ad partner NitroPay and the advertising companies it works with use cookies and identifiers to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure performance, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalize ads. The exact set changes as partners change, so the table lists the main ones we observed on the site. NitroPay's privacy policy explains how it and its partners use this data.

MetaBot Desktop app
The desktop app runs on the Overwolf platform. Ads in the app are served by Overwolf, which uses its own identifiers. You can manage them in the app under Settings → Ad Privacy.
Your choices
- EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies for advertising. You can change or withdraw it at any time with "Manage Cookie Preferences" in the site footer.
- United States: you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information on our Your Privacy Choices page. We honor Global Privacy Control signals automatically.
- Browser settings: every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies will sign you out and may stop some features from working.
- Google Analytics: you can install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- MetaBot Pro: Pro members see no ads, so the advertising scripts above are not loaded for them.

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
