Glacial Conquest

Glacial Conquest is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the The Collector merchant, part of the Frozen Assets quest line. I apologize for being so terse. I get a little antsy when working on my secret projects. Anyways, I have another task that can lead to riches. Start off by eradicating the undead in the mountains. The objective is to kill 10× any skeleton. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to The Collector in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing Peculiar Collections before it becomes available from The Collector. Completing Glacial Conquest rewards 125 XP, 75 Gold, 2x Arcane Essence. The quest is completed in Ice Cavern. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post. Completing the full The Collector quest chain unlocks higher reward tiers and increases merchant affinity, which can affect prices and open additional quest tiers in future seasons.
