Tombstone

Tombstone is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the Weaponsmith merchant, part of the Forging A Legacy quest line. Stone tombs, and coffins... The Forgotten Castle has an abundance of them... I bet some of them have never even been opened, but you might have to fight to be the first. What do you say? There are 2 objectives to complete: Interact with Coffin ×1; Interact with Stone Tomb ×1. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Weaponsmith in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing Is it you? before it becomes available from Weaponsmith. Completing Tombstone rewards 50 Gold, 4x Arcane Essence, 50 XP. The quest is completed in Crypts. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post. Completing the full Weaponsmith quest chain unlocks higher reward tiers and increases merchant affinity, which can affect prices and open additional quest tiers in future seasons. The Forging A Legacy chain provides a structured progression path through the Weaponsmith quest tree, and finishing each quest in order is the fastest route to the higher value objectives later in the line.
