Frostbound Carnage is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the Woodsman merchant, part of the Lost Tribe quest line. The giant folk have been making trouble on the peaks. Clear the way for other adventurers and search parties by showing them who’s boss. There are 2 objectives to complete: Kill 3× Frost Giant Berserker; Kill 3× Frost Giant Shielder. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Woodsman in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing Ember's Amidst Frost before it becomes available from Woodsman. Completing Frostbound Carnage rewards 150 Gold, Random Epic Weapon, 350 XP. The quest is completed in Ice Cavern. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post.
