Phantom Blade Zero has 66 Steam achievements. 35 of them are also on the PS5 trophy list; the other 31 exist on Steam only, including the Platinum-grade Defy Destiny. This roadmap groups every achievement by how you earn it, with the grade, PS5 status, hidden flag and the Steam global unlock rate the game ships with, so you can see what is rare before you start.
Roadmap
- Step 1Play the story
13 story achievements unlock as you progress, from The Heart's Journey (94.5%) to With Heart and Blood (10.5%), which needs the Final Battle ending.
- Step 2Clear the Tales that matter
Nine achievements are tied to Tales. Two of them (Forbidden Arts Beneath the Lake and Phantom and Blade) are also the two conditions for the Final Battle ending, so do them before the final climb.
- Step 3Collect and upgrade
Ten Blackstones, ten Sha-Chi Ambers, ten Memory Flowers and 30 accessories, plus Soul Tempering ten weapons and ten Phantom Edges.
- Step 4Weapon and Edge moves
16 combat achievements, most asking for a specific move with a specific weapon or Phantom Edge. They are quick once you own the gear.
- Step 5Defy Destiny
Unlock every other achievement. On Steam that is 65.
Story achievements (13)
These unlock at story checkpoints as you progress. With Heart and Blood is the exception: it is awarded only when the final fight ends in Final Battle, which needs two Tales done beforehand. Read the true ending guide before the last region.

Collection and upgrade achievements (8)
The game's achievement script explains how these count: Soul Tempering counts 10 different weapons (and separately 10 different Phantom Edges), so tempering the same weapon twice does not help. Memory Flowers count only complete flowers (petals combine automatically once you have them all). Blackstones and Sha-Chi Ambers count wholes, and four fragments combine into one. Accessories count 30 different pieces.
