Phantom Edges are Soul's secondary weapons: you trigger them with Remnant Spark, which refills at Bells. Best Phantom Edge in each class
- Martial: Thunder Spear has the highest Damage of any Edge (450) and Status Effects 360; Ink Cut (400) has the highest Guard Break (324).
- Artifice: Flying Guillotine (380 Damage, 309 Guard Break) is well ahead of the rest of its class.
- Destructive: Tiger Cannon and War Wagon share 310 Damage; Wolfjaw trades Damage for the class's top Guard Break (280).
- Ranged: Goldblaze leads on Damage (281); Flying Dagger has more Guard Break (216).
- Summoning: Puppeteer's Bell has the toughest summon (1,700 HP) and Soul Tempers into Abyssal Bell, which lets it summon an additional powerful Puppet.
Accessories that boost Phantom Edges
Several accessories target one Edge class. Match them to your main Edge:

Upgrading and Soul Tempering Phantom Edges
Edges upgrade with their own material line per class (copper for Martial, charcoal for Destructive, timber for Ranged, gears for Artifice, incense ash for Summoning), stepping up a tier from the Lv10 → Lv11 upgrade and again from Lv20 → Lv21. Lv30 is the first-playthrough cap. Reaching Lv30 costs between 170,240 and 357,504 Remnant Dust. All 25 Edges can be Soul Tempered with a unique item; ten different tempered Edges unlock the achievement Phantom Arsenal. Prices for every material are on upgrade materials.
