Gathering professions
Gathering professions level mostly by gathering herbs, ore, skins and fish in zones of your level. These plans cover only the skill their own recipes can give, as a cheap head start.
How the calculator works
Calculated- Skill-up chance follows the Classic rule: orange recipes always give a point, yellow and green ones give a point with a chance that falls from 100% at yellow to 0% at grey.
- Material cost uses each item's base value from the client as a relative price (there is no auction data before launch), and trainer recipes are preferred over ones that need a recipe item.
- Materials you mark as owned cost nothing, so recipes that use them are preferred and they leave the shopping list.
- Recipes that need an item Blizzard hides until launch are left out, because nobody can buy it yet.
The calculator runs the same route planner as the profession guides, on WoW Forever's own recipe list and skill-up thresholds, so a custom range like 150–225 gives the steps a guide would. Professions covered: Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Cooking, Enchanting, Engineering, First Aid, Fishing, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, and Tailoring.

WoW Forever leveling calculator FAQ
How does the WoW Forever profession leveling calculator work?
At every skill point it picks the recipe with the lowest expected material cost per skill-up, using the Classic skill-up chance (orange 100%, falling to 0% at grey). Consecutive points on the same recipe become one step.
How accurate are the craft counts?
Craft counts are expected values: yellow and green recipes may need a few more or fewer crafts. Material prices are the items' base values from the client, a relative cost until auction houses open.
Can I share a leveling plan?
Yes. Copy link saves the profession, range and options in the address (for example ?p=blacksmithing&from=150&to=225).
Which professions does the calculator support?
All 12 WoW Forever professions with craftable skill-ups: Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Cooking, Enchanting, Engineering, First Aid, Fishing, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, and Tailoring.
