Leatherworking is the largest profession in WoW Forever with 595 recipes, and Forever adds 945 recipes that Classic Era never had — Basic Campfire Kit, First Aid Kit, and Lodestone among them. Each profession guide computes the cheapest leveling route from the client's own skill-up thresholds, so the steps, craft counts and shopping lists are specific to Forever's recipe list rather than copied from a Classic guide. If you want a gathering partner, Skinning supplies 55% of every reagent Leatherworking uses — the strongest pairing in the data.
