The Realm of the Gods Mechanic
The Space Gods (Ahri, Aurelion Sol, Ekko, Evelynn, Kayle, Soraka, Thresh, Varus, Yasuo) are part of the set mechanic and are not standard shop units.
Instead of a carousel, players encounter these Gods at stages 2-4, 3-4, and 4-4. You must choose their "Favor," which provides items and blessings. By stage 4-7, your chosen God grants a permanent "Boon" that can fundamentally change your win condition.
Final Thoughts
With an expanded roster and the removal of the shared draft, Set 17: Space Gods rewards players who can manage their economy and adapt to the God's blessings. Success in this set isn't just about hitting your units—it's about aligning with the stars.
