| Zone | In-game description |
|---|---|
| Amurahta Surveillance Base | A Balaur base set up to monitor the area around Black Claw Village. Watch Captain Amurahta keeps a close eye to ensure the local Mau do their work efficiently, and extorts them for their supplies under the pretext of offering them protection. |
| Andsha Forward Base | An outpost manned by Balaur of the Lagta Brigade, built to support their research into destroying the Blood Barrier. Whether human or Shulak, any who dare approach Impetusium Square without permission are attacked indiscriminately. |
| Blades Temporary Outpost | An outpost established by Blades in Moslan Forest to facilitate hunting down any surviving Nornir. Rumor has it that somewhere within the outpost lies a treasure chest filled with valuables looted from the Nornir. |
| Detlef Thieves Camp | A group of thieves based in Western Gribade Highland. Originally, they preyed on nearby refugees, but now they cooperate with the Blades, handing over to them any suspicious outsiders passing through. |
| Granach's Hideout | A hideout of wanted criminals who originally worked for the Steel Hammer Merchants until they were caught smuggling goods. Now settled in the Eastern Gribade Highland, they continue to target passing merchants. |
| Latrima Outpost | An outpost of elite Balaur forces monitoring and patrolling Dranactus. They oversee Drana cultivation while keeping watch over the area. A teleportation device allows them to rapidly reinforce their forces, making this a key base. |
| Logger's Rest Ruins | A small rest stop that was originally home to the loggers of Moslan Forest before being taken over by a band of thieves after the forest burned down. The thieves hunt forest creatures or rob refugees who pass through. |
| Muqaka's Quarters | Quarters where Muqaka, the Chief of Black Claw Village, resides. All Fafnite production and trade statements, among other important documents, are kept in his quarters. |
| Battlescar Mound | A hill in Altgard where a massive clash between Balaur and defiant Daeva took place. Now it is a peaceful meadow frequented by grazing animals. |
| Calderon Canyon | A canyon in northern Altgard. There are various minerals and caves located along the north of the canyon. |
| Corrupted Forester Ruins | A former hideout and home to the Nornir who protected the forest, until their souls were stolen during an attack by the Blades. Now in ruins, the hideout is filled with the vengeful wraiths driven mad by despair. |
| Dranactus | Land used by the Balaur to raise Drana for their food supply. Drana has stained the entire area red, with Balaur and their minions wherever one looks. |
| Dredgion Crash Site | An area where the Dredgion of the Fafnir Brigade crashed after being caught in the Abyss Rift accident. The surrounding soil is heavily contaminated with waste fluids from the ship. |
| Eastern Gribade Highland | The upper eastern area of Gribade Highland—no more than a parched land with only a small patch of grass. A temporary campsite has been built by a Black Claw search party sent to capture Amunta and members of the Daybreak Society. |
| Forest Marauder Campsite | A marauder hideout hidden within the Purifying Forest. This group particularly despises the Karas and loots all forest inhabitants, Nornirs and Karas alike. |
| Graverobber Den | A den of grave robber Daeva obsessed with an relic buried in a tomb. They've set up camp near the cemetery and are causing havoc. They are notorious even among fellow grave robbers. |
| Mahindel River | A large river that bisects the eastern region of Altgard from north to south. After the fall of AION, the river basin expanded because of changes to the landscape. |
| Moslan Forest | A forested area between Altgard Fortress and the Vaspelt Timberlands. Under the care of the Elim, it was once home to a variety of flora and fauna, but recent raids by the Blood Blades have left it in ruins. |
| Munin's Bridge | A bridge that connects northern Altgard to the Moslan Forest. Named by the Nornir after their teacher Munin. |
| Nameless Cemetery | A graveyard for those who died fighting the Balaur. The sheer amount of dead has meant that many were buried without headstones, and the spirits of those Daeva who failed to return to the flow of Odyle roam freely. |
| Purifying Forest | A forest protected by the power of the ancient Sacred Tree Grisilla. Because of the contamination resulting from Fafnir's Poison Blood, Grisilla has weakened and the entire forest is losing its purifying powers. |
| Rubek Thieves' Occupied Territory | The main base of a bandit group occupying Calderon Canyon. They expanded their power using illegal explosives and now pillage anyone in sight, human or Shugo alike. |
| Sanctum Outpost | Once the main base of the Destruction Archons operating near Zikel's Sanctum, it has since been taken over by the Balaur. Now that the Daeva's rebellion has been quelled, Draconute troops manage the area. |
| Sanctum Outskirts Watch | An outpost established by the Balaur outside the Sanctum Outpost. Though disguised as a simple outpost, it is actually a facility for testing Draconute modification, with many violent Draconutes who have slipped beyond Drakan control. |
| Silent Hill | A hilly area between the Nameless Cemetery and the Sanctum Outpost. |
| Southern Gribade Highland | The highlands located between the Western and Eastern Gribade Highlands, to the south of Idun's Lake. The road to Zemurru's Tomb is located here, but it is not being maintained. |
| Tranein Highland | A peaceful hill on the outskirts of the Sanctum Outpost. |
| Tranein Pond | A small pond on the Tranein Highland. |
| Uruthumheim | Built to honor a Daeva named Uruthum who led eleven warriors to slay the giant Drake Minusha during the Millennium War, this site has since crumbled to ruins. |
| Basfelt Ruins | This place was once a village of loggers and hunters until it was largely destroyed by the Balaur. Now it is overgrown bush, and the terrain where the Balaur bombardment was concentrated is pitted and twisted, leaving only the shattered ruins of Zikel's… |
