How we read the AION 2 game files
Everything in this section comes from the AION 2 global client, build 0.0.4387.0. Here is what that covers, what we calculate on top, and what no game-file database can know.

Where the data comes from
We read the data tables shipped inside the AION 2 global client (build 0.0.4387.0) – the same files the game itself loads – and convert them into a database. Nothing comes from the Korean or Taiwanese versions, which are months ahead and use different numbers, and nothing is copied from other fan sites.
Names and translations
Item, skill, monster and place names are the game's own official text. The global client ships English, German, Spanish, French, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese; in those languages you see the official in-game names. Polish, Turkish, Vietnamese and Chinese pages use the official English names, so they always match what you type into the game.
What we calculate
Numbers marked Calculated are derived from game data, not read from it. Expected enhancement attempts add the game's per-failure bonus to each success chance; the lucky, typical and unlucky ranges are 4,000 simulated runs. Kills for a 90% chance use 1 − (1 − p)^n on the exact drop rate. Crafting totals expand every intermediate recipe down to raw materials.
What the client does not contain
Some things live only on the game servers: monster HP and combat stats, live market prices, player rankings and server populations. We never estimate them. Player data – rankings, character lookup and a class tier list based on real players – will be added once the official global API is live.
Maps and spawn positions
The maps use the game's own world-map art. Spawn points, Kibelisks, Hidden Cubes and dungeon entrances are placed with the client's own map calibration, and we check the result against the zone borders drawn in the game. Where a Hidden Cube can appear in several spots, every candidate spot is shown.
Most AION 2 sites are built from the Korean servers, which run a different patch. Reading the global client means every name, drop chance and enhancement rate here is what players in North America and Europe actually get. When the client changes with a patch, we re-read it and update every page.

Methodology FAQ
Is this the Korean or the global version of AION 2?
The global version: every value is read from the global client, build 0.0.4387.0.
Why are monster HP and boss mechanics missing?
They are stored on the game servers, not in the client files, so no database built from game files can show real values. We would rather show nothing than a guess.
How often is the data updated?
Whenever a patch changes the global client. The build number at the bottom of each page shows which client version the data comes from.
