The Squire's Sorrow•To Become a True Adventurer

The Squire's Sorrow is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the Squire merchant, part of the To Become a True Adventurer quest line. There are 3 objectives to complete: Bring 2× Accessory (Uncommon); Bring 2× Armor (Rare); Bring 2× Weapon (Rare). All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to Squire in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing The Squire's Reality before it becomes available from Squire. Completing The Squire's Sorrow rewards 🪙 125, Random Epic Armor, 125 XP. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post.
