Collector's List
Collector's List is a Dark and Darker quest assigned by the The Collector merchant, part of the Far From Finished quest line. I have quite a long list of curious items I’m pursuing, but we’ll start with these. They may not seem like much on their own, but I assure you, they will help complete my collection. Once you bring them to me, I’ll entrust you with the next request. There are 2 objectives to complete: Bring 1× Large Scroll; Bring 1× Gold Waterpot. All progress requires a successful extraction — items retrieved or kills made during a failed run do not count toward quest completion. Once every objective is fulfilled, return to The Collector in the lobby to turn in the quest and receive the reward. This quest requires completing Frostbitten Pursuit before it becomes available from The Collector. Completing Collector's List rewards 30 Gold, Random Uncommon Weapon, 3x Magic Protection Potion, 25 XP. The quest is completed in Ice Cavern, Goblin Caves, Ruins or Ship Graveyard. Merchant quests in Dark and Darker are one of the most consistent gold and experience sources in the game, independent of loot luck on the Trading Post. Completing the full The Collector quest chain unlocks higher reward tiers and increases merchant affinity, which can affect prices and open additional quest tiers in future seasons. The Far From Finished chain provides a structured progression path through the The Collector quest tree, and finishing each quest in order is the fastest route to the higher value objectives later in the line.
