Foxcicle has an even base stat spread in Palworld: 90 HP, 100 attack and 105 defense all sit close to the middle of the Paldex, with no stat far enough from average to build around. Defense at 105 is its most competitive stat, in the 73th percentile of the Paldex — solidly in the upper half, but not far enough ahead to be the reason you pick Foxcicle.
Elementally, Foxcicle is Ice: it takes extra damage from Fire attacks and deals extra damage to Dragon Pals — the matchup that decides most of its Alpha and tower fights.
Foxcicle Work Suitability
Foxcicle covers 2 of the game's 12 work suitabilities — Cooling and Farming — and Cooling at level 4 is the one worth assigning it to. That ranks Foxcicle #14 of the 38 Pals with Cooling, so it will do the job, but it is not the Pal you keep the station for. It also holds Farming at level 3, high enough to be worth assigning rather than leaving as filler.
Farming is a scarce suitability: only 29 Pals in the entire Paldex have it at all, so Foxcicle holding it at level 3 is reason enough to keep one around. Foxcicle can also be placed on a Ranch, where Farming Pals produce their item on a timer with no input from you — the cheapest passive income a base has.

Where to Find Foxcicle
Foxcicle is found on the Palpagos Islands map, where the game data places 187 separate spawn points for it. Most of them — 89% — sit in the Snowfields, and the rest turn up in the Grasslands. The thickest band runs through the north of the map around X 18k, Y 49k, with looser pockets elsewhere.
Wild Foxcicle spawn between level 30 and level 37, so the ones you meet late in a run hit noticeably harder than the first you catch. It also has one fixed Alpha arena, marked with a diamond on the map — that Alpha respawns, so it is a repeatable source.
