Training ranks & method

Game data

Visit a Alchemy trainer to raise your skill cap before you reach it.

  1. Apprentice — skill cap 75
  2. Journeyman — skill cap 150
  3. Expert — skill cap 225
  4. Artisan — skill cap 300

How the route is calculated

  • Skill-up chance follows the Classic rule: orange recipes always give a point, yellow and green ones give a point with a chance that falls from 100% at yellow to 0% at grey.
  • Material cost uses each item's base value from the client as a relative price (there is no auction data before launch), and trainer recipes are preferred over ones that need a recipe item.
  • 12 steps use a recipe whose learn skill is estimated: the client does not state when the trainer offers it.
