Mining is a gathering profession: you level it mostly by gathering in the world. Its own recipes can carry you from 1 to 125 in 3 steps (about 284 crafts), starting with Smelt Copper. The shopping list needs 4 different materials, the biggest being 129× Copper Ore. All 21 recipes are listed below, 5 of them new in Forever.

How the route is calculated
- Skill-up chance follows the Classic rule: orange recipes always give a point, yellow and green ones give a point with a chance that falls from 100% at yellow to 0% at grey.
- Material cost uses each item's base value from the client as a relative price (there is no auction data before launch), and trainer recipes are preferred over ones that need a recipe item.
- 2 steps use a recipe whose learn skill is estimated: the client does not state when the trainer offers it.
- Gathering skill-ups (herbs, ore, skins, fish) are not part of this route; the route only covers the profession's own recipes.
