Sorted by region, then by trade. "Stock" counts the distinct items that merchant offers across all of their stock windows, so a shop that rotates its wares over the 30 days shows the whole run rather than one day of it.

Open a merchant from the list to see whether manuals are in its stock, or start from the manuals list and follow an entry to the merchants that carry it.
Do merchants restock over the 30 days?
Yes. A merchant's stock is written as one or more windows, each with a first and last story day and a refresh interval, so what is on the counter depends on when you walk in. Every merchant page shows those windows rather than a single flat inventory.
Why are some merchants missing from the map?
39 of the 50 merchants carry a position the game files can be checked against; the rest are known by their region only. Rather than drop them at a guessed point, they are left off this map and kept on the vendors list with their stock intact.
