Home Sweet Home is a dream that repeats the prologue until you break it. The way out is the voice: during the fight with the second group of enemies, look for the well in Focus Mode, and when the memory asks whose story this is, the answer is Alin. In the church, help the priest by choosing Alin, Esme and Coen in that order. Escape and the enemy that appears at the end drops the Astrologer's Ring; let the dream repeat four times instead and you get the hidden ending and the Together Forever trophy.

    Stuck here? The hidden ending

Do not break the loop: let the dream repeat four times. At the start of the fifth, the game lets you stay — the journal's third ending, and the trophy Together Forever.

  2. Talk to your familyDay & Night

Can it be? Is it truly them?

    Pinned on the map
Stuck here? You cannot save them — the loop is the point

Every cycle plays the same: the family, the enemies, the boss. Play it through at least twice, and in the fight against the second group of enemies hold Focus Mode and find the highlighted well — that is step 6, the voice.

  4. Rescue your familyDay & Night

I can't watch my family suffer over and over again. I've got to do something!

I need to save them – but how?! I keep running in circles. It's pointless!

I think I heard a voice – calling me over. I have to find out where it's coming from.

At least I get to see them again... Safe and healthy...

  13. Move further into the memoryDay & Night

Alin's story... Our story... It seems to be the key to getting out of here. It's been so long since I really thought about that.

Pinned on the map — pin 15
    Stuck here? Alin's story

The memory asks whose story this is. The journal's own step says it: Alin's — that answer moves you on to the church.

  14. Help the priest recall the sermonDay & Night

The priest – he's stuck, can't finish what he's saying. He needs to recall how the sermon went. I need to recall it.

    Pinned on the map
    Stuck here? The priest's sermon

He is stuck until you pick the three figures in the right order: Alin, then Esme, then Coen. The church door opens onto the meadow (step 15) and the boy to run after (step 16).

  15. Investigate the meadowDay & Night

We've spent so much time here. So many memories I did my best to forget.

I stormed off and I ran, crying... But where to? I can't recall.

Which ending you get, and how

Two ways out that pay the same — the first two entries differ only in Coen's words — and one way to stay.

  1. Ending 1

I-I'm not even sure where to start. This whole thing – it seems to have been some sort of a trap, set by a warlock from the tower. He trapped me inside my own head, but I got out – and stronger than before.

    Rewards: 500 XP, 1 skill point(s)

How to get it: Break the loop (the well, Alin's story, the sermon, the meadow) and defeat the enemy that appears at the end. It drops the Astrologer's Ring.

Pick this if: Anyone who wants the ring — a Legendary amulet — and the XP.

  2. Ending 2

I-I'm not even sure where to start. This whole thing – it seems to have been some sort of a trap, set by a warlock from the tower. He trapped me inside my own head, but I got out – and that's what matters.

    Rewards: 500 XP, 1 skill point(s)

How to get it: Also reached by breaking the loop. The game files pay it exactly what they pay the first.

  3. Ending 3

I'm tired – tired of fighting, tired of running. I think I'll stay here for a bit. It feels familiar now, it feels safe. And that's what I need.

How to get it: Stay: repeat the dream four times and accept it at the start of the fifth. No reward but the Together Forever trophy.
