Dad didn’t give up, he never does. He keeps saying he’ll get us out. That he won’t let Brencis kill us and we shouldn’t be scared. He talks to other people down here – they’re like Vladimir, he says, and they have friends who will come free all of us, sometime soon. But… don’t tell Dad this, I don’t think he’d want you to know, but sometimes I hear him cry. After they take my blood or come screaming at Mirto. I think he misses you a lot… he just… he says weird things about you sometimes. That you’re… It’s stupid! I hate when he says it! You’re not like them. You’re not!
