Captain,
As ordered, we escorted Lady Xanthe’s apprentice to the area where one of the uriashi stones is supposed to be. In fact, we met two goatmen nearby – they showed proper deference to our uniforms, so the witch asked them to be her guides. They agreed.
Now, I know that my orders were to keep an eye on the girl, but she told us to stay in the camp so we don’t bother her while she "speaks to the deep echoes of magic" – whatever the fuck that means. So I sent only four of my men with her. And the uriashi guides, of course.
When she’s done, I shall escort her back to Lady Xanthe.
