Full text of The Divine Comedy – A Reader’s Notes
Some say God himself inspired the so-called 'Divine Comedy'. I'd say it was inspired by the beans and cabbage the author ate before sitting down to write.
First of all, what narcissist makes themselves the main character of their own story? And then fantasises about talking to famous philosophers as if they were best friends?
Not to mention that you don't need to write a couple hundred pages to tell me that I should be a good Christian. I know that!
The only part that kept me interested were all those horrible things that happened to sinners in Hell. They may have been brutal, revolting even, but at least they made me fear ending up there. Reading all the rest felt like Hell itself. Honestly, I don't know what people see in this piece of garbage!
