MetaBot Desktop is a free Deadlock match tracker and Second Screen app for Windows. While you play, your second monitor shows a live souls graph, both rosters, objectives and a match event feed, and an in-game search button lets you look up any hero or item — powered by the same data behind metabot.gg's Deadlock hero win rates, item stats and comps.

Because Valve doesn't offer a public Deadlock API, most players have no persistent match history at all. MetaBot solves that by recording your matches automatically: every game opens a post-game breakdown with a souls chart, your build, the full team view and an Impact Score, and builds a permanent history on your MetaBot.GG profile.

Is the Deadlock tracker free?

Yes — match recording, the Second Screen, post-game analysis, the AI Coach and the desktop tools (Build Theorycraft, Comp Lab, Rank Benchmarks, Objective Companion) are all free.

Is MetaBot Desktop allowed in Deadlock?

Yes. Match data comes from Overwolf's approved game events, and the only thing drawn in game is a small search button, rendered the same way Steam's own overlay is. The app never reads Deadlock's memory or modifies game files.

How does Deadlock match tracking work without a public API?

Valve doesn't expose a public match API for Deadlock, so MetaBot Desktop records your matches as you play. That recording powers your match history, the post-game analysis window, and your MetaBot.GG Deadlock profile — it's the only way to get this data automatically.

What does the Second Screen show?

While you play, your other monitor shows a live souls graph for both teams, both rosters, objective status and a feed of match events. On a single monitor, the in-game search button still lets you look up any hero or item mid-match.
