While you play, Recommended Comps shows the strongest lines for your lobby, Shop Tier Ratings grades every unit the moment your shop refreshes, and Win Odds estimates your board's chances before each fight — all without opening a second monitor's worth of tabs.

The overlay is built from live ranked match data and follows the current set automatically. When a patch shifts the meta or a new set launches, comps, tier ratings, and item data refresh within days — the same pipeline that powers metabot.gg's TFT comps and unit pages, always tracking the current ranked set.

Yes, the full app is free: all five TFT overlays, automatic match recording, the AI Coach, and the desktop tools like the Team Builder and Custom Set Creator. There is no paid tier.

Does the overlay support the current TFT set?

Yes — the overlays run on the current ranked set's data. Comps, shop tier ratings, and win odds are rebuilt from live ranked matches, so when a new set or patch ships, the overlay updates within days without you doing anything.

Is a TFT overlay allowed by Riot?

Yes. MetaBot Desktop is built on Overwolf, which works within Riot's third-party guidelines and is compatible with Vanguard. The overlay renders on top of the game and never reads memory or modifies TFT's files.

How do the overlays work during a TFT game?

The app detects your TFT match automatically. Recommended Comps and Shop Tier Ratings appear during planning, Win Odds updates before combat, and Round History keeps the whole lobby's fights visible. Everything can be repositioned or toggled with hotkeys.

Will it affect my FPS in TFT?

TFT is a light game and the overlay is lighter — it's hardware-accelerated and built to have negligible impact. Individual overlays can be switched off if you want a minimal setup.
