Journal Entry: Iron Platebody
Blacksmiths everywhere favour iron as a material to forge with. It is strong, durable, and malleable when hot and yet rigid when cool. It has been used to create weapons and unbreakable containers. Yet, it is most popular when turned into protection for those forced to ride into battle.
The desire for iron was so strong in the village of Bramblemead that they exhausted all the iron deposits in Brynmoor. The Wild Knights cautioned them to look for more sustainable methods. Still, the villagers had become too accustomed to the luxury of iron.
Militia groups began to form to search Ghornfell for the precious metal ore. They marched in large groups, crushing plants beneath their metal heels and destroying whole areas of woodland in search of iron ore.
Their noise and bluster drew the ire of roving Garou, who saw the invasion of their forests as a violation of their treaties.
