Daedream has an even base stat spread in Palworld: 70 HP, 100 attack and 60 defense all sit close to the middle of the Paldex, with no stat far enough from average to build around. Its damage is melee-weighted — 100 melee attack against 75 ranged — so Daedream does its best work up close and loses value the further away the fight happens. No base stat on Daedream clears the Paldex median; Melee Attack at 100 is the closest it comes, which puts the whole case for catching it on its work suitability and its breeding combinations.

Elementally, Daedream is Dark: it takes extra damage from Dragon attacks and deals extra damage to Neutral Pals — the matchup that decides most of its Alpha and tower fights. It is cheap to keep. A food value of 1 is one of the lowest in the Paldex, so Daedream works a full shift without draining the feed box the way a large Pal does.

Where to Find Daedream

Daedream is found on the Palpagos Islands map, where the game data places 241 separate spawn points for it. Every one of them sits in the Grasslands, so that is the only biome worth searching for a wild Daedream. The thickest band runs through the centre of the map around X -400k, Y 36k, with looser pockets elsewhere.

Wild Daedream spawn between level 4 and level 16, so the ones you meet late in a run hit noticeably harder than the first you catch. Daedream is nocturnal, so it is awake and easiest to track down at night. Beyond open-world spawns, Daedream also turns up in dungeons.
