Where to find ores
Game dataCopper, iron, sulfur and the like are mined from ore veins in the terrain; the game's hint names the region (the Shroud badge means the veins are inside its Shroud). Some ores also drop at random from Ancients' ore containers, counted in the third column.
"In the Shroud" means the hint points into the Shroud of that region.

Iron Ore has no placed nodes; the game's hint says to look in the Shroud of Kindlewastes. Ancients' ore containers can also drop it at random (769 of them, mostly in Cinder's Cradle (648), Nomad Highlands (49)).
