Build a Counter-Strike 2 crosshair and get a code you can import straight into the game. The generator follows the pixel-based crosshair system Valve shipped in September 2026. Length, thickness and gap are whole pixels, the ten styles from Dynamic Cross to Static Quadrant are all here, and outlines can be any colour. Paste any crosshair code to load it, including old CSGO- codes, which CS2 no longer imports. Tune it against real map backgrounds, then copy the new CS share code or the matching console commands.
At 1x the preview shows the crosshair as it looks on a 1080p screen. The map backgrounds are scaled down, so the crosshair looks larger relative to the scene than in game.
In CS2: Settings → Game → Crosshair/Scopes → Share or Import, then paste.
Paste the console line into the developer console, or put the config version in your autoexec.cfg.
Sizes are pixels at this vertical resolution, and CS2 scales them to yours. Pick your own resolution to edit in exact pixels.
Pick a starting style or paste a code, then adjust length, thickness, gap, colour and outline until the preview looks right. Click Copy code. In CS2, open Settings → Game → Crosshair/Scopes, choose Share or Import, paste the code and confirm. You can also copy the console commands and paste them into the developer console (enable it under Game settings), or put the config version in your autoexec. Use Copy share link to send a friend the exact crosshair.
Since the 30 September 2026 update, CS2 exports crosshairs as a 46-character code that starts with CS and has no dashes. It stores sizes in pixels, the screen height they were made at, a full RGBA outline colour and the scope dot settings. Codes in the old CSGO-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx format are rejected on import, even ones exported from CS2 a few weeks earlier. The generator reads every old layout and re-exports it in the new format. Codes from the CS:GO era used a different size scale, so their conversion is approximate; check the preview before you use them.
Real-time overlays, automatic match tracking, and exclusive tools — everything you need to climb, free on your PC.

Copy the code from the generator, open Settings → Game → Crosshair/Scopes in CS2, click Share or Import and paste it. The new codes start with CS and have no dashes. If the game says the code is invalid or old, paste it into the generator first and copy the converted code.
CS2 stopped importing codes in the old CSGO-xxxxx format with the 30 September 2026 update, including codes exported from CS2 before that date. Paste the old code into the import box above. The generator converts it to the current CS format, keeping your colour, dot, T-style and outline, and recalculates the sizes in pixels.
The pixel crosshair uses cl_crosshairstyle, cl_crosshair_length, cl_crosshair_thickness and cl_crosshair_gap. Colour is cl_crosshaircolor_r, _g, _b and _a. The outline uses cl_crosshair_drawoutline (0 none, 1 full, 2 half) plus cl_crosshairoutline_r, _g, _b and _a. Other settings are cl_crosshairdot, cl_crosshair_t, cl_crosshair_recoil and cl_crosshair_screen_height. The old cl_crosshairsize, cl_crosshairgap and cl_crosshairthickness values no longer describe the same crosshair. The generator copies the full current set in one click.
CS2 crosshair sizes are whole pixels at the screen height the crosshair was made at, stored in the code as cl_crosshair_screen_height. The game scales it to your resolution, so a crosshair made at 1080p looks the same size relative to the screen at 1440p. Set the screen height to your own vertical resolution to work in exact pixels.
Most competitive players use a static style (Static Cross, style 4), because it never moves and gives a constant reference point. A small static cross with an outline stays visible on every map. Dynamic styles show spread while you move or spray, which can help when you are learning. Try a few starter styles above against the Mirage, Dust II and Inferno backgrounds.
Yes. Sign in to save crosshairs to your MetaBot account and load them on any device. Free accounts keep 3 crosshairs. MetaBot Pro keeps up to 30 and lets you file them into named folders, such as one per role or map.
Yes. Designing, importing, converting and copying crosshair codes and commands is free and works without an account. An account is only needed to save crosshairs.
