Yaw is how many degrees the camera turns per mouse count at sensitivity 1. CS2 and CS:GO share 0.022, as does Apex Legends.
How sensitivity conversion works
- Every game turns the camera a fixed number of degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1 (its yaw). Dividing one game's yaw by another's gives the multiplier between them.
- cm/360 is how far you move the mouse for a full turn. It is the one number that means the same thing in every game: 360 ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × yaw) × 2.54. CS2 1.6 at 800 DPI is 32.5 cm.
- eDPI is DPI × sensitivity. It is a quick way to compare players in the same game, but it cannot be compared across games with different yaw values.
- Changing DPI? Multiply your sensitivity by old DPI ÷ new DPI to keep the same cm/360 - going from 400 to 800 DPI halves your sensitivity.
Matching cm/360 keeps the same arm movement for every flick and turn, which is why it is the standard way to move a sensitivity between shooters. CS2 to Valorant is ×0.3143, CS2 to Overwatch 2 is ×3.3333, CS2 to Marvel Rivals is ×1.2571 and CS2 to Deadlock is ×0.5, because Deadlock turns twice as far per count. Apex Legends and CS:GO use the same yaw as CS2, so the number does not change.

CS2 sensitivity converter FAQ
How do I convert Valorant sensitivity to CS2?
Multiply your Valorant sensitivity by 3.1818 at the same DPI. To go the other way, multiply your CS2 sensitivity by 0.3143.
Is Apex Legends sensitivity the same as CS2?
Yes. Apex Legends uses the same 0.022 yaw as CS2 and CS:GO, so the same sensitivity at the same DPI feels identical for hip-fire.
How do I convert CS2 sensitivity to Overwatch 2?
Multiply your CS2 sensitivity by 3.3333. Overwatch 2 turns 0.0066° per count, a third of CS2's 0.022°.
Is Deadlock sensitivity the same as CS2?
No. Deadlock turns 0.044° per count, twice CS2's 0.022°, so you need half your CS2 sensitivity (×0.5) at the same DPI.
What is cm/360 in CS2?
It is how many centimetres you move your mouse to turn a full circle. CS2 sensitivity 1.6 at 800 DPI is 32.5 cm/360.
What is eDPI in CS2?
eDPI is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity, e.g. 800 DPI × 1.6 = 1280 eDPI. Compare it only with other CS2 players.
How do I keep the same sensitivity when changing DPI?
Multiply your sensitivity by old DPI ÷ new DPI. Enter your current DPI and the new DPI in the converter to get the exact value for every game.
Does this convert scoped or ADS sensitivity?
No, it converts hip-fire sensitivity. Scoped sensitivity in CS2 is controlled by zoom_sensitivity_ratio, and other games have their own ADS or scope settings.
