Wild Scout's ShortbowBow
A bow used by Wild Knight scout. Maintaining balance, one arrow at a time.
Journal Entry: Wild Scout's Shortbow
There was magic once, in this bow, though it has mostly faded now. Runes were ground down and mixed with plant oils, to create a special resin that allowed the Wild Knights to work their magic through the bow, as if they were carrying runes. That magic has faded away, and the recipe for the mixture lost to the ages, but these bows are still formidable in their own right.
Wild Knights told tales of creatures that lived within the wilds of Ashenfall, that could not be felled by normal bows. Deer with hides that glistened with starlight, sheep who’s silver fleeces repelled all arrows. They claimed that these magically infused bows were the only ones capable of harming the creatures, though none ever returned with trophies to share.
