Unique GaugeSummonItem System

Deadpool (Wade Wilson) is presented as part of Samurai Outriders in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, alongside Ghost Rider, Blade, Loki. This page covers their identity, their team, the character-specific systems on their engine record and their movelist.

Who Is Deadpool?

Wade Wilson was a mercenary dying of cancer when he volunteered for a Weapon X offshoot that gave him a healing factor derived from Wolverine's. It saved his life, scarred him head to foot and left his mind permanently unsettled - including a habit of addressing the reader directly. He remains a working mercenary, a largely unwanted X-Men associate and extremely difficult to kill.

Deadpool's Systems

Deadpool's entry in the game's character table sets the following engine flags: Unique Gauge, Summon, Item System.

  • Unique GaugeA resource meter belonging to this character alone, tracked separately from the meters every fighter shares.Healing Gauge
  • SummonThis character's data includes a summoned entity that is tracked separately from the character themselves.
  • Item SystemThis character's data includes an item resource that is tracked and spent over the course of a match.

Whatever Deadpool carries on top of them, the universal systems apply to every fighter: tagging, assists, guard cancels, air tech and combo scaling are documented in full on the mechanics pages.

Deadpool Movelist

23 moves across 4 sections, transcribed from the in-game command list.

Healing Gauge and Fourth Wall AttacksDeadpool trades health for the Healing Gauge — the recoverable slice of his Vital Gauge — by blocking Skills and by taking hits on purpose with Meat Shield and Collateral Damage. Holding gauge swaps his Medium Skills for Fourth Wall Attacks, and Roman Cancel spends Vital Gauge to cut his recovery short.

Inputs use the game's own button names, with numpad notation and the default PlayStation and Xbox layouts alongside. Buttons can be rebound, so the named form is the one that always holds.
