How This Tier List Is Built
MARVEL Tōkon publishes no match data and MetaBot records no MARVEL Tōkon matches, so there is no win rate to rank 20 fighters by. Rather than invent one, this page averages 6 published tier lists and shows you the average.
Each source's top tier scores 100 and every step down subtracts one band, so a four-tier list runs 100, 75, 50 and 25. Lists using different letters are normalised by position rather than by name - a list whose top tier is called SS still scores 100, and its S is the second band. A character's score is the average over the lists that actually rated them, and the table shows that count beside every score.
The tiers here begin at 90 for S, 70 for A and 55 for B, with everything below in C. Those cuts sit in real gaps in the spread rather than on round numbers picked in advance.
One caveat worth reading before trusting a row: Loki, Carnage, Hulk, Deadpool were locked during the open beta, so only three of the lists below were written by anyone who had seen them played. Their placements are the least settled on this page.
