Slay the Spire 2 Card Reward Advisor
Choose your character, add the cards from your reward screen and, if you like, your deck and act. The advisor ranks each of 484 reward cards across 5 characters against skipping, using how 20,919 recorded runs did when they took or passed on the same card.

Every offered card gets a score in percentage points, built from three signals measured across 20,919 runs. Pick lift is the win rate of runs that took the card from a reward minus runs that skipped it, which is why Skip always scores zero. Act timing compares runs that added the card in your act with that act's average pick. Deck synergy compares decks holding the card alongside your deck cards with the other options on offer. A card is only recommended when its score beats skipping by a margin and it has enough recorded offers behind it. All of it is observational: it shows what went with winning runs, not a guarantee.
What the numbers mean
- Score: the card's combined edge over skipping, in percentage points. Above zero means runs that took it tended to finish better than runs that passed.
- Act timing: only shown when you pick an act. It is centered on that act, because early adds always look worse (those runs include early deaths).
- Synergy: named only when a deck card pairs with the option in at least 40 recorded runs. It reorders the options but never decides Take versus Skip on its own.
- Confidence: High needs 300+ recorded offers, Medium has enough to count, Low is never recommended over Skip.

Slay the Spire 2 Card Advisor FAQ - October 2026
How does the Slay the Spire 2 card advisor work?
It ranks the cards you were offered using 20,919 runs recorded by MetaBot users, covering 484 reward cards for 5 characters plus colorless cards. Each score combines pick lift (win rate when taken minus when skipped), how cards added in your act did, and synergy with the deck cards you enter. Skip is the zero line every card is measured against.
When should I skip a card reward in Slay the Spire 2?
When no offered card beats skipping by at least half a point with enough recorded offers behind it. The advisor only says Take when runs that took that card did measurably better than runs that passed on it.
What do the confidence labels mean?
High: the card has been offered at least 300 times and has a reliable pick lift. Medium: reliable, but with fewer offers. Low: too few recorded offers, so the card is never recommended over Skip.
Does the card advisor use my deck?
Yes, if you add it. Deck cards feed the synergy signal: for each pair, the advisor compares decks holding both cards with decks holding either one, then centers that across the offered cards. Starter Strikes and Defends are ignored.
Why does the act change the advice?
Some cards do their best work when added early and others late. When you pick an act, the advisor adds how runs that took the card in that act did compared with the act's average pick.
Is the advice guaranteed to be right?
No. It is built from how 20,919 real runs finished, not from simulating your fight. Players pick cards with their whole run in mind, so a score is a strong hint about what went with winning runs, not proof that one card wins on its own.
Can MetaBot fill in my run automatically?
Yes. The MetaBot desktop app reads your current run, so the offered cards, deck and act are filled in for you while you play.
